am currently pursuing a degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Southern Mississippi, with a strong interest in working with children and supporting their individual needs. I am CPR certified and currently taking American Sign Language classes, which are helping me strengthen my communication skills and better connect with individuals with different needs. I have hands-on experience working with children through Camp ABLE, mission trips, 4Friends, Disciple Now, and Vacation Bible School (VBS), where I have helped supervise, care for, and engage children in activities while creating a safe and positive environment. I also have an 11-year-old sister whom I have helped care for throughout her childhood. Growing up in a single-parent household has given me valuable experience with responsibility, patience, and caring for children. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, and caregiving skills and have deepened my passion for working with children of different ages and abilities.
