I have experience with infants due to my nursery job; and elementary experience due to my camp counseling work and Palmer Home for Children volunteering. My very first babysitting job was a five year old boy and twin seven year old girls when I was only twelve years old myself. I have been doing various childcare for a very long time! I have certainly learned a lot about coordinating time, disciplining, and entertaining. I will be getting married in November (continuing to live in Starkville for at least one year), and we would like to be house parents one day, so this opportunity would be wonderful for our future. My fiance works for the Department of Human Services (specializing in child abuse cases) in West Point, so we both care very much about children.
