Hi- my name is Nyla Thomas, and I'm currently a Senior Music Education major at Mississippi State University. I started babysitting my little cousins at 16. I would drop them off and pick them up from school everyday. I would babysit them for about 3 hrs. In high school I worked at a daycare with children from ages 1-6. I had a blast teaching the kids, and seeing their happy faces each day. Working at the daycare influenced my decision to go into my major in college. I enjoy taking the kids outside for a game of tag, or for a younger toddler playing with puzzles and matching games. In my free time, I like to watch movies, re-read "The Alchemist," and spend time with friends and family. :)
