Hi, I’m Jamiah! I have several years of experience working with children and genuinely enjoy creating a fun, safe, and caring environment for them. I’ve worked with children ranging from newborns to preteens through personal babysitting and nannying, as well as my experience working in childcare and youth programs. I’ve served as an afternoon teacher at First United Methodist Church Daycare in Starkville, Mississippi, and previously worked at the Boys & Girls Club as an afternoon teacher with both elementary and middle school-aged children. Through these experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to help with homework, activities, routines, and everyday care while also building meaningful relationships with the children I work with. I love getting to know each child’s personality and finding ways to make them feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged.
