I’ve babysat the majority of my life but became a full time nanny in 2013 when I had my own daughter, Wylie. It allowed me to keep her with me while helping other families that needed to return to work. I’ve had the priveledge of working closely with over two dozen families, and it’s always a joy getting to know and becoming a part of these families. I do not take what I do lightly! As a mother myself, I understand how hard it can be to leave your child with what starts as a stranger, and to feel like you’re missing out on that time, so I do my best to be an extension of the parent and to fill the child’s day with upbeat, stimulatory activities. I believe in providing a safe environment for children to freely explore both their surroundings and their own character. I believe each Read more child is unique and responds differently to different approaches, so I really try to get to know each child and treat them respectfully and as the unique little being that they are. :) We love the outdoors, hiking and camping, seeing new places and meeting new people. I am CPR certified. I also have a BS in Nutrition and my own little art business. I make pressed flower art, chalkboard signs for businesses and custom wedding signs. I also do other forms of free lance creative work but have always continued to babysit on the side. Please let me know what else I can tell you about myself and my experience! I'm an open book!
