Hello! I'm Micaela, 19 years old currently living in Missoula and loving it. I am energetic, caring, friendly, fun, responsible, and I love kids! My past experience includes helping to take care of my 5 siblings that are under the age of 10, as well as working at the University at the ASUM Early Learning Center and Preschool. There I was helping to supervise up to 12 infants at a time (between 3 months and 2 years), assisting with food prep and cleanup, providing positive mealtime and social examples, as well as problem solving in a high stress environment in a positive way. I closed the facility often, making sure it was up to par with the sanitation requirements, as well as weekly cleaning assignments, so I definitely don't mind doing some cleaning or organizing. I was working with 3-5 year olds, which meant lots of fun crafts and educational activities. At both facilities I also helped to supervise children outside at a playground setting and took them on field trips. At this job I was required to take countless hours of online and in-person trainings, including things like Safe Sleep for Infants, Proper Food Handling, What to do When an Accident Strikes, and many more. I am Serv Safe Food Handling Certified, and I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I would really like to work with families, getting to know their children and being a positive adult in their life, as well as a reliable babysitter for you to call. I work great with pets too (at one point I had 7 dogs as a kid), and don't mind helping out with chores or anything outside of the box. Hope to talk to you soon!
