I am from Alaska and got married last December. My husband transferred to Miles City at the beginning of April so we both are pretty new here. I began babysitting at age 11 and I am the sixth child out of seven. I have 15 nieces and nephews and have watched them all. I love all children and have experience watching children ages birth through 13 years old. Most of my experience is babysitting for a few hours so parents can run errands or go on a date, however I did spend a year as a live-in nanny for my sister Hannah in 2012. Since I moved away from Alaska for college, one of my siblings will ask me to stay with their children for a week or two while they go on vacation in the summer or winter. I currently am not a certified caregiver, but I have a Read more Bachelor of Science in Education Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University where I took 3 credits in counseling, 6 credits in early childhood education, and 30 credits in teaching children and adults with disabilities. My dream job is to work with babies who were born with hearing loss or deafness. I am currently saving money to apply to a doctorate program in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education.
