Hello, my name is Laura! I have 2 years of childcare experience between teaching swim class and working as a pre-school teacher. My work included changing diapers, sanitizing all classroom and bathroom surfaces, watching the children at all times in both indoor and outdoor play, encouraging gentle hands and safe play between children, encouraging "walking feet" so as to avoid falls, proper handwashing technique, meal prep, etiquette, and giving comfort to stressed children. I am CPR certified. I also take pride in teaching children self-regulation techniques, to ensure that they can feel empowered to calm themselves down without falling to unhealthy habits.
