Hello! First I'd like to start by thanking you for your interest :) Im not sure how much bios are read on here, but I appreciate you taking the time to get to know me! My name is Olivia. I will be moving from Charlotte to Arden in late January of 2021 as a result of my acceptance of a job transfer. While childcare is my greatest passion, the unrelenting need to pay my bills and provide my dogs the lifestyle they have grown accustomed to has resulted in my full time career as a store manager at Starbucks (which means, yes, I can get you coffee). While I love what I do, I feel more fulfilled when I can help nurture and develop the young minds of toddlers and children (infants are fun too, just not good conversationalist). In addition to that, I am very concerned that moving to Read more a city hours away from everyone I know may cause me to be depressed, and its impossible to be depressed around children. It is this thought process that has led me back to sittercity (a site I havent used since I was in college). So pleaseee. Help me help you by allowing me to support you in your child care needs! Not only am I passionate, reliable, flexible, awesome, and humble! I also come preloaded with tons of cheesy dad approved jokes, multiple Disney Playlist (yes, I know all the words. No, I will not subject your child to my awful singing, unless of course theyre bad and need to be punished), but Im also really good at helping with cleaning, homework, and the creation of small child armies bent on improving the lives of their parents. Thank you for your consideration and I hope reading this made you smile as much as it made me smile while typing it! :) For parents looking for stronger qualifications, here are additional reasons why I'd be a great choice: Being the oldest of the grandchildren in my family, I have been tasked with assisting in caring for children since I was a child myself. Having the added benefit of coming from a multi cultural family, I know many tips and tricks for child care. Not only do I have the on hands experience, I also took multiple early childhood education courses while in school. I am particularly proud of the following childcare achievements: -supported teaching 5 infants basic words in sign language to facilitate communication before verbal skills develop -volunteered for a summer in a daycare -taught over a dozen toddlers to fist bump -supported sleep training twin infants -convinced 3 toddlers to give up the pacifier for good
