Hi There! I'm a masters level music therapist & mental health counselor by trade, as well as a musician (pianist / singer & songwriter) with 15+ years as a counselor, music therapist, teaching artist, expressive arts teacher, piano teacher, and nanny with children (and adults -- except for the nanny part). I have a private holistic healing arts practice (devorakalma.com), work part-time remotely in the evenings (Mon. - Thurs) with adults in addiction recovery, and will also begin to teach some classes with teens and adults at AB Tech. I'm also starting to offer workshops and perform more as a music artist here in Asheville. I have a passion for children, parenting, creative self-expression, and whole person mental health, and while I am pursuing the work and projects above, I still have quite a bit of space available for babysitting, and I'd love to work with children again in this Read more capacity. Currently I'm free during the day until 6 pm. (When my AB Tech work starts, I may be unavailable some portion of the morning, but that schedule is not solidified yet). I'm free Friday nights and weekends.
