This means encouraging natural senses of curiosity and wonder, gentle-parenting techniques and mindfulness, building in play/silliness/art, and spending as much time being active and outside as possible. I have over a decade of experience in paid childcare and have been both a nanny and camp counselor for every age range of child from 8 months old to 16 years old. I also love pets and am always happy to care for them as well. I have a BA in English & Creative Writing, a passion for writing, theatre, music (guitar, piano, and singing), running, climbing, mountain biking, cooking/healthy eating, counseling, and gardening.
