I've been babysitting for as long as I can remember! I used to watch neighborhood kids when their parents went out, and spent my senior year in highschool as a live in nanny of seven! I have plenty of experience with handling multiple children at a time. I have a four year old girl of my own who is spending her pre-k year with her father, since he's spent the last 18 months out of country. She will be around two weekends a month and holidays. Next year she comes back to live full time with her step-dad and I. I also have a three week old little girl who I am staying at home with! Our townhouse is surprisingly roomy, the kids rooms upstairs are full of toys and my dining area is usually covered with some kind of arts and crafts project. I like to practice hands on Read more play with the kids, building blocks, making forts and cardboard castles! Imaginative play is a big part of being a kid and is highly enjoyed in our household! Let them come home with stories of rocket ships and dinosaur caves, let them be little! Outdoor play is also enjoyed after naptime/quiet time. I tend to set a schedule for the day and different activities during the week! Agendas can be requested beforehand, and suggestions are always welcome!
