Hello! My name is Tara, and I am an experienced nanny, educator, dance teacher, and proud mother to a one year old daughter. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, nurturing, and engaging to care for your children. I am currently seeking nanny opportunities where my daughter would be welcome to come along, creating a loving and social environment for all children involved. I earned my BFA in Dance from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2019. After graduation, I moved overseas to Australia and worked as an international live-in nanny (au pair) for two families. During my time abroad, I cared for children ranging from 6 months to 6 years old, including infant twins. This experience gave me strong hands-on knowledge of many developmental stages and helped me become adaptable, patient, and confident in caring for multiple children at once. Through years of teaching dance and working with children, I discovered a true passion for child development, creativity, and education. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable assisting with light household cleaning, homework help, meal preparation, crafts, imaginative play, and outdoor adventures. I love creating enriching, active, and creative experiences for children while maintaining a safe and structured environment. My background in dance and education allows me to bring lots of energy, creativity, and movement into everyday activities. I have experience working with children from infancy through age 17, have reliable transportation, most importantly, I genuinely love working with children and building meaningful relationships with families. Tara is amazing. She just moved and we miss her terribly already! Tara was always on time, responsive, is incredibly patient, fun and kind.
