I am currently a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and I am working towards my degree in Elementary Education. I grew up with an older brother and a younger sister and I always loved when my mom would go somewhere and leave me in charge of my sister because I loved caring and looking after someone and the responsibility that came along with that. I haven't had any paid experience babysitting but my junior year of high school I volunteer my summer to attend a camp where I got to watch after children with special needs. That's where I decided I wanted to pursue a career that involved children. Along with that, I used to babysit my younger cousins and family members while their parents were out but I was never paid for that work.
