I am a Senior at UNCC and began working on my MA this past semester as well. I plan on going to law school after completing undergrad. I am paying my way through school and am currently home in Burnsville for summer. Prior to college, I babysat for my aunt and uncle when their second child was born. This included babysitting him as a newborn and his older sister as a toddler. I babysat them and occasionally their friends as they grew out of the toddler stage. They moved to Raleigh, so I began working with young children at my local community theatre. This included entertaining/caring for the very young children, (youngest being 4 years old), and leading the older children in group activities, (choreography, acting, singing). I do very well with children in the 5-8 year range, but I love babies and toddlers and have spent most of my Read more time babysitting this age group. I believe that having proper care and a good influence for one’s children and babies is critical to a positive upbringing of one’s baby/child. I hope to help children one day through my legal career, and hopefully to work for UNICEF while I am still young. Working with children has always brought me joy and I have been told I am gifted in it by employers and family members. I am hopeful that this site will help me to soon connect with those in need of a loving and reliable babysitter.
