I have always loved working with children, and started as a mother's helper for families in my neighborhood while still in middle school. In high school I babysat consistently for four families, taking care of children aged 8 months to 13 years. Beyond my babysitting experience, I have also spent a year teaching English to children, including preschoolers, kindergartners, elementary, and middle school students. In many of the classes, the emphasis was on learning through play and games, and I thoroughly enjoyed planning interactive games and activities for my young students. I am very comfortable with animals, and I am also happy to cook, clean, and help around the house.
