My name is Princess Lane and I am a current freshman at UNC-Chapel. I am majoring in elementary education in order to be an elementary school teacher someday. My experience which children include: volunteering as a Sunday school teacher in my church nursery for the past 7 years (ages ranged 2-4), being a vacation bible school leader for 3 years, working in a daycare the last 6 months (Feb 2015-Aug 2015) before I moved to Chapel Hill for college, and I have also baby sat for members of my church whenever needed for the past 2 years. I am also certified in CPR, first aid, and I have my CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant). Other than caring for children, I was a waitress at pizza hut for 2 years (2013-2015) so I have had experience in having a job and being a reliable worker. I do go home to Eden, NC Read more over school breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, Summer Vacation) so I won't be available during those times. I finish class at 3:15 everyday but Friday. I do not have my own care since it is not allowed for freshmen on campus, but I would be fine taking an uber to and from work.
