Hello ☺ I am a 25 year old who is looking for a great opportunity to work with children in New York City. I have been babysitting since age 12 and grew up in a very large, loud and loving family. I have enough experience that I feel as if I can handle any situation. I have had two nanny positions, one live-in and one live-out. My live-out situation was with 4 boys from the ages of 5 months to 10 years. I would drive over in the mornings and make sure the boys were ready for school and drive them. I would then care for the infant until it was time to pick the others from school and take them to lessons and practices. I would help with homework and usually feed dinner before mom and dad got home. I loved the vast age difference, but it was especially Read more fun hanging out with the baby all day. My live-in experience was actually with my aunt and uncle and their three teenage children. I was in charge of driving to school, practices and cooking dinner every night. I have the mother listed as a reference and she would be happy to speak with you about our experience. I love interacting with the family and getting to know their schedule so that I can do the job the way they want me to. I would view any live-in nanny position as a full time job and would be extremely flexible when it came to plans and time off. I expect to be on the clock whenever was needed by the parents. I am looking for a work relationship that coordinates with each other and communicates effectively and with courtesy. I view any nanny position as a partnership between the nanny and parents.
