I am a fifth grade teacher for academically advanced students here in Charlotte. I am looking for an occasional babysitting or tutoring job with any age children. I have experience with children from newborn to 16 years old because of my work at day cares as well as summer camps. While I babysit, I am always prepared bringing age appropriate activities for your child so that they do not end up watching a movie or TV during our time together. When I tutoring, just like in my classroom, I can guide your child to deepen their understanding and teach them how think critically about the given subject. My rate varies upon the amount of children, their age as well as the reason for employment, but I generally charge $13-$18 per hour babysitting and $20-$30 per hour for tutoring.
