Ever since I can remember, I have grew up around children. My aunt who raised me has her own daycare facility. She has operated her business for over twelve years. I was in her daycare when I was a child, and as I aged out I took it upon myself to help her care from children as young as a couple months old. I am also a teacher assistant at Idlewild Elementary School. At the school, I work with 2-5 graders helping them learn how to read. I also help the student with word study, word phonics, and ensure that they understand the daily lessons. We read both fiction and nonfiction material. Witnessing my students grow has motivated me to get my teaching certification.
