Hi families! My name is Monique Henry-Ranger. Currently, I am a Teacher Associate at Pioneer Springs Community School. I am also a Certified Chef and a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. Prior to my current job I was working for Healthy Home Market as a Cook for around 4 years. During my experience working for Healthy Home Market I learned how to cook healthy vegan and non vegan meals. Your child will be well fed! Prior to Healthy Home Market I worked for many different and wonderful family as their Nanny taking care of their beautiful children. I was a Teacher at KinderCare Daycare for a few years, an After-school Enrichment teachers Assistant for CMS, and a Camp Counselor for the YMCA Of Greater Charlotte for a few summers. I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages as I am a big Read more kid myself! Children are fun, energetic, honest, and caring. They also need a structured schedule in which keeps them occupied with the activities they enjoy. What makes me good at working with children is that I give respect, love, honesty, and loads of fun to the children and they give it back to me as well. It certainly makes working with children super easy when you respect and communicate with them. Seeking to understand them rather than jumping to conclusion makes them feel comfortable and safe.
