Really enjoy combining care with education- especially children under age 5 Or special needs. Also adore babies- extensive experience with newborns. Have worked with children with many issues- medical, emotional, physical, and autism. Experience with feeding tubes, nonverbal cues, food aversion, non- English speaking children whose parents first language is not English. Severe behavioral problems such as pervasive developmental delays. Experienced with mental health issues such as ADD, ADHD, depression, anxiety and schizophrenia. I do not believe in using electronic devices as childcare… only if educational or therapeutic in most cases and all children love their favorite movies or shows. I prefer hands on education such as Legos building bridges and buildings, cooking, crafts, playing outside!
