Hi, it's Tamarra. I am currently shifting in regards to job/career and finally realizing that it's ok to do what you love. I am 48 years young and although I have been in Retail management and several office atmospheres, I do believe I love the children the best. When I was 19, I worked with infants from 0- 9 months. When my own daughter was ready to leave the nest for preschool, I volunteered at her school after exiting retail management and was able to get a position as an assistant teacher at the building next to hers, where I had the pleasure of aiding children (4-5). Later in life after being laid off I began working with at risk teens in the group home setting as a residential counselor and also provided community based support. My last contact with this direct service was a personal care assistant for people Read more who needed extra support as a result of various disabilities. All in all, as I look back serving others and helping to lighten the load in other people's lives is something I have enjoyed doing. I realize through raising my own 2 daughters that everyone needs at least a little help just to rest and renew yourself so that You can proceed "at your best". With these experiences I offer training in First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration, Cultural Diversity and Personal Safety in the Community. I was raised with integrity, responsibility and to help others. At this juncture in life, I feel I am pretty "seasoned" to assist you and your family. Let's have a dialogue and see how I may be able to "lighten" your daily load. I also provide light housekeeping and cooking if needed.
