Hi! My name is Mitra, and I am a preschool teacher. I have experience working with toddlers and pre-K students. My educational background is in psychology and cognitive science, studying the cognitive mechanisms involved in learning and decision making. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old, and in addition to my experience in a preschool setting, I have worked in inclusive after-school programs with children ages 4-12 and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders. I have also volunteered with children, supporting them with homework and after-school activities. My aim to nurture children's curiosity and promote their autonomy and self-esteem through purposeful play in a self-directed learning environment. I will be having afternoon availability during the school year. I am fully vaccinated and have a driving license and my own car. I am CPR certified.
