My name is Bréjai Washington but Bré is fine! I’m from Kansas City, KS and I’m new to the Charlotte area. I’m a graduate student at Johnson C. Smith University for my Master of Social Work degree (May 2022). I also currently intern at KIPP Charlotte as a social worker. I’m hoping to open a nonprofit for marginalized youth in urban communities assisting with financial literacy, providing knowledge about trades, college readiness, summer programming, and more! I have one younger sibling that I practically raised as I come from a one parent household. I also have a miniature poodle named Spencer that I’ve raised!
