I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Elon University. I also minored in Early Childhood Education and Human Service Studies. In school I learned about the Montessori method of teaching and was intrigued by how independent, self-aware and respectful students were taught to be from such a young age which led me to working with children ages 3 months to 6 years old at a montessori preschool. In the past I have volunteered, interned and worked at camps, day care centers, schools and residential treatment centers. In my free time, I love to visit my family in Asheville and spend time exploring new areas with friends. I also love being creative through baking and art.
