My name is Kennedy, I'm 19 years old, and I'm a rising sophomore at Duke (but I went to Charlotte Country Day School!). I grew up as an only child, but always wanted siblings. So, I started working with kids as soon as I could (around 13). I first started with volunteer work at my middle school's summer camp in Rhode Island and, after moving to Charlotte, soon progressed to babysitting for two families fairly regularly in high school. I've babysat for up to three children at a time (anywhere from infant to elementary-aged) and am comfortable doing so again, while also completing basic household tasks and chores. Working with kids brings me so much energy and joy, and I love nurturing them while also witnessing their growth and development. Kennedy is simply outstanding! It was such a great experience working with her from start to finish. She is super responsive and punctual! Amazingly sweet, personable and empathetic. We needed care for our toddler who was home sick while we worked from home. She took great care of him and he absolutely loved her. She offered to help out with light household chores. We will certainly be hiring her for our future babysitting needs!
