Hello! :) My name is Destiny Shytles, and I recently graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Currently, I am located on the edge of uptown Charlotte, working full-time as a Recruiter for Abound Health, LLC. Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle by hitting the gym, indulging in books, exploring new places, and dedicating myself to continuous professional growth. Additionally, spending quality time with friends and family is a top priority for me. Babysitting has been an integral part of my life since a young age. Starting with independently caring for my younger brother at the age of 14, I expanded my experience by looking after my neighbors' children from the age of 16. During the ages of 16 to 18, I pursued early childhood education courses, enhancing my knowledge and skills in the field. Throughout high school, I gained valuable Read more experience by working in a daycare, initially assisting in a one-year-old classroom during my junior year and progressing to a first-grade classroom in my senior year. During my college years at North Carolina A&T, I worked with diverse families, providing dependable care. This included picking up children from school, assisting with homework, preparing dinner, and ensuring a peaceful bedtime routine. I am experienced in providing transportation and organizing enjoyable outings for children. I genuinely enjoy having fun with kids and understand the importance of being respectful, responsible, and proactive. Moreover, I am comfortable around pets. Quality childcare is something I take great pride in, and I can provide references upon request. Given my role in healthcare, I have received full COVID-19 vaccination, updated TB screening, and hold a valid CPR certification. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
