Hi! I'm Kenzie. I just moved to Charlotte in August 2023 from sunny Sarasota, Florida. I am currently enrolled in college at CPCC studying Business so I have tons of free time, with my classes being online. I have worked many jobs involving kids and dogs because I love both haha! I am a very caring and nurturing person and love keeping busy. My previous childcare experience consists of working at Aqua-Tots teaching children ages 12 months to 12 years old how to swim. I worked along side instructors who taught me skills and the experience I needed to help kids get better at swimming. I then worked at a womens bootcamp in Childwatch through my senior year in highschool. Women would workout and bring their children in to the room where Id watch them. I've helped many kids do homework, color in coloring books, do puzzles and play fun Read more games. Working in childwatch meant interacting and keeping the kids busy until the class was over! My last childcare experience was this past summer Lifeguarding which I loved! I am currently CPR/AED certified and know how to rescue a drowning swimmer in 6 different ways. I am a very experienced swimmer considering I swam competitively for 8 years so that is a big plus in terms of childcare! In that job I had to interact with many guests on a day to day basis including parents, kids, and directing pool parties. I have gone through 3 CPR Certification classes, so I am very familiar with giving CPR.
