My Name is Veronica, I began babysitting at age 13 and have continued to work with children on and off since then. I am an experienced nanny who has worked for 3 families over the past 5 years. I was also a preschool teacher for two years which required me to make lesson plans, lead lessons, and in some cases help with the after school program for elementary and middle school students that was also on the premise. I have worked with children aged infant to 13 years old. With nine years of experience I have had the opportunity to observe and learn from numerous professional in various child care fields ranging from nannies to speech therapists and teachers. I just recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Carolina University and will hopefully pursue my master's degree in Speech Language Pathology in the future. I quickly grew to love being able to help children shape their imaginations and learn about the world around them. As a preschool teacher I would always try to create lesson plans that allowed the children in my class to create things or be hands on with the activities.
