Hello. My name is Shaylin. I have a passion for children of all ages and caring for others. I grew up in a home daycare and have helped with children ever since I can remember. I've been babysitting for friends of the family and by word of mouth since 2007, and have held formal child development positions since 2011. I've been a toddler teacher’s assistant, a school-age lead teacher, and am currently a preschool 2’s lead teacher and have the joy of being a caregiver to a 17yo autistic teenager. I enjoy teaching children their basic fundamental skills, becoming independent, working on fine motor and gross motor skills, doing arts & crafts, and other fun activities. While I haven’t held a nanny title, I have great experience planning children’s daily activities and ensuring their development and safety.
