I am a single mother of three children so my babysitting experience is vast! As a mom I have had to look for babysitters, nannies and childcare providers over the years. I know the struggles of finding someone you can trust, someone who is not going to park your children in front of a television all day, someone who actually will teach your children, keep them safe and occupied, take them outside and they learn while they are being cared for! As the oldest of 12 grandchildren, my babysitting experience is vast. Growing up I also was one of the neighborhood babysitters and had quite a few regular clients until graduating and going to college. I have two girls, ages 13 and 11 and my son is 4. One of my children has ADD so I also know how to deal with these types of special needs. I have a Read more Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and an MBA. I have my own businesses, part of which is tutoring and childcare. Since my son is 4 I am really looking for a child to keep regularly that he can interact with him since I am with him most of the time. My home has a dedicated area for play and a classroom environment. I have lots of toys and learning materials. My yard is fenced in with a large yard for play. Our family does have a dog but she will not be around children in my care. I don't have carpet in my home since carpet can be a breeding ground for allergies. I have a clean background and driving record. I drive a mini van and have car seats and plenty of room for children! We do go on field trips occasionally if the parents allow.
