My name is Sarah White and I am 20 years old. I work at Pitts Baptist Child Development Center as a infant-school age floater teacher. I am currently in my senior year of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Next semester I will have full time fieldwork and will be unable to work during the week, so I am looking for an all day Saturday position and occasional Friday night positions. I have always had a love for children and have been volunteering at the nursery (usually ages 2-4) and VBS (usually kindergarten) at my church for 6 years. I am a trained babysitter with the American Red Cross and am CPR certified. I have been a neighborhood babysitter for 5 years and have 5 little cousins ranging in age from 2 to 12 that I have had the pleasure of watching periodically throughout the years. I Read more enjoy crafts, writing, music, sports, and finding the fun in everyday activities. I believe anything can be fun if you make it fun and enjoy making bingo charts and other fun, motivational tools for my little cousins to help them with their school lesson plans while out of school. I am a fourth degree black belt in TaeKwonDo and have had lots of experience training young children (5-10) and finding fun activities to burn their energy in a safe, productive way. I worked in the childwatch at a gym in Huntersville for almost 2 years. I enjoy finding new ways to help others understand school work. I am very gentle and calm, hardworking and energetic, and I absolutely love being a babysitter and working with children.
