I am seeking a position as a full time childcare provider. I have experience with children of all ages, diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and unique needs. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling with a minor in Bible and Theology and I am currently enrolled in an online graduate degree program from the University of Florida. For several years, not only have I been a substitute teacher for a number of public and private schools throughout Georgia and North Carolina, but I also spent 3 summer seasons working at a camp for students with disabilities and special needs, in Wyoming. My fiancé and I have recently relocated back to my childhood home in northwest Florida with plans to settle down and build our new home and remain near my family. My CPR, AED and Lactation certifications are current. I am always searching for additional education and training to improve my skills involving childcare. From my adolescence years to present, I have been caring for children. I have had opportunities to care for children of all ages including infants, toddlers and up to young adults. Some of the children I have assisted with have been premature births, pairs of twins, and developmentally delayed children. Additionally, I’ve cared for children with food allergies, skin allergies, autism, Down Syndrome, ODD, OCD and ADHD. I have served as a Guardian Ad Litem for a child in the foster care system of the state of North Carolina. In that capacity, I acted on the child’s behalf in the court system to provide protection, guidance and support until the child reached the age of adulthood. As I have clearly described, my background has been extensive has in caring for children and their well-being. I find happiness in giving unselfishly to the needs of others. I have been a nanny on a part time basis to a number of families, but now I’m ready to transition into a full time and long term position. I am CPR/First aid certified. I am the lead teacher of the one year old toddler room. I have my early childhood education credentials. I am experienced with working with children with special needs & disabilities. I watch 10 one year olds daily, so I am capable of focusing on the needs of multiple children.

I really love helping out others especially kids. I don't have any experience. But I'm patient, hardworking and respectful. I'm currently talking GED classes at the community college. I don't have any skills or training as of right now.

I have three years of experience in childcare. During this time, I cared for a family’s three children, and at one point, I also watched their family friends' kids, six children in total. As a sitter, I would play games with the kids, jump on the trampoline with them, watch TV, make lunch or dinner, and engage in make-believe play. I have experience with both boys and girls. The children I watched regularly included two girls and one boy. When I first started, the youngest was four, the middle child was seven, and the oldest was nine. I’ve also completed multiple internships in both special education and general education classrooms, working with students up to the fourth grade. I am currently a senior in college majoring in Communication, with a double concentration in Public Relations and Interpersonal & Cultural Communication, and I have a minor in Leadership.

I'm a current college student, I have 4 years of summer camp experience, and I started babysitting when I was 12. Most of my experience is in the ages of 2-5, though I am comfortable with 3months- 14 years. I am easily able to adapt and function well in fast-paced or high-pressure situations. I'm a Recent Graduate at WCU with a BS in Psychology, and I have a deep passion for working with children. I've been babysitting for over five years and have experience with children 2 weeks to 10 years old.
