While I may be newer to babysitting specifically, I bring valuable experience working with children and a deep passion for nurturing their creativity and individuality. In my previous role, I worked with kids on a daily basis, primarily guiding them through a variety of arts and crafts activities. I loved seeing how much joy and confidence they gained through creative expression, and I’m a firm believer in the importance of hands-on learning and exploration. In addition to my love for the arts, I have a strong appreciation for nature and enjoy sharing that with others—especially children. Whether it's a walk outside or simply time spent observing the world around us, I believe nature offers essential enrichment for the body and mind. Creating a safe, welcoming space for every child is one of my core values. I’ve had many meaningful interactions with neurodivergent individuals, including family members and close friends, and I approach these experiences with empathy, understanding, and a willingness to learn. I do my best to accommodate sensory needs and boundaries, and I always aim to validate children’s feelings—whether they’re feeling overstimulated or just excited to share their favorite interests (I love a good info-dump)! Children are truly incredible, and I feel honored to support their growth, expression, and sense of wonder. As a caretaker, my goal is to hold space for kids to be exactly who they are and feel fully safe while doing so.

I am CPR/First aid certified. I am the lead teacher of the one year old toddler room. I have my early childhood education credentials. I am experienced with working with children with special needs & disabilities. I watch 10 one year olds daily, so I am capable of focusing on the needs of multiple children.

I’m a college student studying music education. I’ve worked in childcare for the past 3 years. I’m CPR certified! I have babysat ages 0-8 before, and I worked at a school with ages 5-12.

I have three years of experience in childcare. During this time, I cared for a family’s three children, and at one point, I also watched their family friends' kids, six children in total. As a sitter, I would play games with the kids, jump on the trampoline with them, watch TV, make lunch or dinner, and engage in make-believe play. I have experience with both boys and girls. The children I watched regularly included two girls and one boy. When I first started, the youngest was four, the middle child was seven, and the oldest was nine. I’ve also completed multiple internships in both special education and general education classrooms, working with students up to the fourth grade. I am currently a senior in college majoring in Communication, with a double concentration in Public Relations and Interpersonal & Cultural Communication, and I have a minor in Leadership.

I am seeking a position as a full time childcare provider. I have experience with children of all ages, diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and unique needs. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling with a minor in Bible and Theology and I am currently enrolled in an online graduate degree program from the University of Florida. For several years, not only have I been a substitute teacher for a number of public and private schools throughout Georgia and North Carolina, but I also spent 3 summer seasons working at a camp for students with disabilities and special needs, in Wyoming. My fiancé and I have recently relocated back to my childhood home in northwest Florida with plans to settle down and build our new home and remain near my family. From my adolescence years to present, I have been caring for children. I have had opportunities to care for children of all ages including infants, toddlers and up to young adults. Some of the children I have assisted with have been premature births, pairs of twins, and developmentally delayed children. Additionally, I’ve cared for children with food allergies, skin allergies, autism, Down Syndrome, ODD, OCD and ADHD. I have served as a Guardian Ad Litem for a child in the foster care system of the state of North Carolina. In that capacity, I acted on the child’s behalf in the court system to provide protection, guidance and support until the child reached the age of adulthood. As I have clearly described, my background has been extensive has in caring for children and their well-being. I find happiness in giving unselfishly to the needs of others. I have been a nanny on a part time basis to a number of families, but now I’m ready to transition into a full time and long term position. Hi! My name is Riley Hatch and I am moving to Charlotte as an incoming freshman at UNCC majoring in Nursing. I am a responsible, energetic, and intelligent student who has very big goals for herself! I have been working jobs since I was sixteen and I currently am certified as a nurse aide working in a long-term care facility, so i’m not afraid of hard work! Along with my nurse aide certification I also carry a CPR certification. My end career goal is to become a pediatric nurse in a children’s hospital! I don’t have much experience working with kids aside from one semester of babysitting two young girls, volunteering with summer camps, and my local church’s vacation bible school. Although I lack the paid experience watching children some may have, I am a very responsible and attentive young adult who will take any job extremely seriously. I go above and beyond to make those around me happy and will go above and beyond to keep your children safe!

I'm a Recent Graduate at WCU with a BS in Psychology, and I have a deep passion for working with children. I've been babysitting for over five years and have experience with children 2 weeks to 10 years old. In addition to babysitting, I've volunteered in Sunday school and youth church programs, worked at the Boys & Girls Club, and spent a year as an Exceptional Children's Teaching Assistant (ECTA). In that role, I worked directly with children with autism, ADHD, and other support needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to nurture children's learning, creativity, and emotional growth. I'm comfortable caring for kids of all ages and Im happy to help even when little ones are feeling under the weather. I'm also a big dog lover!
