Hey there! I’m Vanessa — a 20-year-old student at Western Carolina University studying Elementary Education. I’ve worked with kiddos as young as 6 weeks old all the way up to middle schoolers, and I truly love every age and stage! I am currently a full time student, so my schedule/availability changes every 5 months, but I would love to fit in time! I currently do not have a full-time sitting family (although I am looking!!!), but I prioritize myself on my full flexibility on weekends, and most weekdays! This is my usual availability (Don’t be scared to ask about overnight or vacation opportunities): Monday: 12-11pm Tuesday: 5:30-11pm Wednesday: 12-11pm Thursday: 5:30-11pm Friday: 4-12pm Saturday: 7am-12pm Sunday 7am-12pm I’m certified through SC DSS, have completed multiple Early Childhood courses, and have a negative TB test. I have been background checked through the state of NC and SC and am willing to Read more share that information! I have taken endless safety courses, as I am a part-time preschool teacher, so I have multiple course certifications in topics such as Safe Sleep, SIDS, Nursemaid’s Elbow, Outdoor Play, and more! I have my own car along with a clean driving record, that I love to tell parents about so they know I am always down to take small car rides to a nearby park or children’s museum. I love crafting, playing outside, and making sure your child is both safe and having a blast. I’m experienced with potty training and happy to follow (or help create!) a routine that works for your family. I do have experience with multiple kids as well as having pets in the home. I do have my own apartment with a cat, so if you are looking for someone to drop off to, I am more than willing to share my home with your lovely child(ren).
