As a young college student, and a psychology major, I have taken several courses that have required me to go to different local schools to student teach and have classroom involvement with children. While I was very apprehensive in the beginning, I have developed a love for interacting and caring for children. I have also tutored children between the ages of 6-14 in school work for the past year, which is so fulfilling. Also, I have two nieces of my own and a nephew that I used to babysit when they were younger. My youngest niece (age 6), lived with me when she was 3 years old until she was 5 years of age, which helped me develop the skills needed to care for children.
