I began working with children at the age of 15 through babysitting while in high school, which is where my passion for childcare and education began. I also volunteered at my church at age 18, working with children and teaching age-appropriate lessons. I later gained professional experience in a daycare/childcare setting, where I worked for two years caring for infants through toddlers, ranging from eight weeks to five years old, and supported their learning and daily routines. Additionally, I worked for five years with a private family, caring for two children, providing transportation, assisting with homework, and supporting their daily needs. I currently work at a charter elementary/middle school as a Teacher Assistant, where I support classroom instruction and student development. Although the role is demanding, I find it deeply rewarding and truly enjoy working with children.
