My name is Alexandra, and caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the youngest of five children, I grew up in a big, busy household where family came first, and that value has always stayed with me. I began babysitting at 16 and quickly realized how natural it felt to care for and connect with kids. Over the years, I’ve served as a live-in nanny for two very different families—first, for 18-month-old triplets in Houston, Texas, and later for two young girls (ages 5 and 9) navigating the loss of their father in the aftermath of 9/11. These roles taught me not only patience and structure but also how to show up with warmth, empathy, and consistency. Later in life, I transitioned into the corporate world, working high-level roles for organizations such as the American Cancer Society and Read more TransUnion. I thrived in those settings, developing skills in leadership, organization, and people management, but my heart always stayed connected to more personal, hands-on work. In 2023, after years of chasing external success, I chose to step away from corporate life, travel Europe for a year, and return to a lifestyle that values presence, peace, and purpose. As a mother myself, I stayed home full-time during the first three years of my child life. I led a vibrant local playgroup for nearly 9 years, hosted weekly gatherings for moms and their toddlers, and became the go-to sitter for many of my friends. My home was always the “hub” : loud, full of life, crafts, storytelling, and healthy home-cooked meals. Now, I’m returning to nannying and occasional babysitting with a renewed sense of purpose. I believe in raising children with intention (less screen time, more nature walks, museum trips, messy crafts, meaningful conversations, and structure balanced with joy). I’m fluent in English, German, and Polish, have reliable transportation, and bring a deep sense of both life experience and emotional intelligence to the families I serve. If you're looking for someone grounded, capable, nurturing, and organized, I would love to connect. I’m available for full-time nanny positions or part-time and occasional babysitting in the Fayetteville, NC area. Open to travel.
