As a high school student I was dually enrolled in an early childhood education program. Upon completion I earned my early childhood teaching certificate and had two years working with special needs children. Following high school I pursued a career in law enforcement as a 911 dispatcher then training coordinator. Once I had children of my own finding child care while working shift work was difficult. I organized a private daycare/night care system for our employees drawing on the skills I had been taught in school. We've since raised our children and retired from Florida. My "baby" graduates this year. I'm ready to start working with children again. I love reading stories, baking, and playing games. I'm flexible, dependable, and energetic.
