Hello! My name is Colby and I am a junior attending UNC-Chapel Hill. I am currently majoring in Psychology with minors in neuroscience and history and I plan on attending an accelerated nursing program after my undergraduate studies. I have been babysitting for three years for the same single mother. I babysit two boys ages 6 and 11 (one with ADHD). I have great communication skills regarding children and I can also help with online schooling and homework. It seems odd that I am a male babysitter, as there are very few, however, I am seeking childcare experience for my future career endeavors. I plan on becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner so I need to spend as much time with children as to better prepare myself for working with them. Colby was fantastic! We are traveling cross-country in our motorcoach with our 2.5 yr old son, and wanted a night to explore the city. Obviously this sitting situation is outside of the norm for most people, but Colby took it all in stride. He was on time, attentive to instructions, and most importantly, he took great care of our son- who was in his pjs, tucked in bed fast asleep when we arrived home. We cannot recommend him enough- your kiddo (or kiddos) would be in great hands!
