Hey, you! Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me a little better. My name is Florentina and I was born in Austria. Let me tell you how I ended up living in North Carolina. Two years ago I decided to leave Austria and move thousand of miles away from home. I wanted to see the other side of the world, I wanted to share my culture and travel. I made the decision to move to Florida and work as an Au Pair. I lived with an lovely family (two kids: girl 9 y/o, boy 7 y/o) and I was basically responsible for everything. From waking them up in the morning, helping them to get ready, preparing breakfast & lunch, driving them to school and after school activies, teaching them my culture and a new language (german) to getting them ready at night and Read more ending the day with a funny good night story. I had a wonderful time & it was one of the greatest experiences I had made so far. After my Au Pair time was over, I got married to my husband and we decided to move together to California. I started a new position as a part-time Nanny for a couple families. The kids were between 2 and 10 years old and sometimes I took care of 4 kids at once. Most of the time we just went outside for fun activities, went for a walk, spent our time playing cards or just hanging around on the playground for hours. I love to be creative so I always try to make our day fun and choose activities the kids enjoy. We moved again and ended up in New York City and even though I already had so much experience, this was definetly a whole new experience. I was a part-time Nanny for two families. I took care of two boys (2 y/o, 4 y/o) and always spend the afternoons with them. We went to after school activities, parks, zoo’s, to the library and all of the fun museums, they had to offer. At the same time I also worked with another family (girl 2 y/o, boy 4 y/o, boy 7 y/o)! Last year August, me and my husband moved to North Carolina and we finally settled in after a long time of moving around. I started working with the best family (boy 4 months old). I have been with them part-time and for quite a while but now he is starting to go to daycare and I’m trying to find someone new that I can help. I was mainly responsible for diaper changes, cleaning up after the baby, meal prep, nap time, etc. Side note: I love dogs and any kind of animal and would also love on your furry family-member.
