Hello! I am Jordan McGhee and I currently live in Greensboro N.C. I am in my senior year at North Carolina A&T where I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Social Work degree. Post graduation, I plan to work with children (probably in elementary schools) because I've always been passionate about working with the youth. I am also interning with Guilford Child Development Head Start preschool where I work with four year children on a daily basis. This experience has taught me how to care for multiple young people at one time. A child has never been harmed under my care because I am very alert and overall concerned with their well being. Also, I am member of a mentor group called Lady B.U.G.S that goes to High Point N.C. every week to mentor middle school girls. I have been a part of this organization since last year and Read more have built bonds with these young ladies. We help them with homework, play games, and engage in outdoor activities with these girls as a form of after school care. Lastly, my older sister is a second grade teacher in Durham N.C. and I visit her class as often as I can. She has been in the teaching field for 4 years and I have learned many skills from her when it comes to working with children. As a youthful 21 years old, I have no problem playing outdoor games or going on field trips. I am willing to do pick ups or drop offs if needed. I hope you see me fit to be your caregiver! :)
