I am a graduate student at UNC Greensboro currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. I previously received my bachelors degree from the University of Rochester in Psychology and Brain and Cognitive Science, and my MSW from Columbia University. I have a lot of experience working with children. In undergrad, I worked as a summer camp counselor for children who were exposed to violence where I helped teach teaching coping mechanisms, social skills, and emotion regulation skills. At the University of Rochester, I also worked in a psychology lab, interacting with study participants ages 3-5. When I was living in NYC from 2015-2017, I babysat regularly for three families with children ranging from 6mo-13 years old. In my MSW program, I worked in an inpatient psychiatric children's hospital in the Bronx with teenagers experiencing emotional difficulties. Upon graduating with my MSW, I accepted a job in Chapel Hill, NC Read more working in a psychology research lab with children ages 9-14. For the past two summers I worked as a camp counselor with neurodivergent children ages 8-18. Through my research and clinical background in psychology, I have gained a ton of experience working with kids in various age groups, settings, and backgrounds. I am friendly, outgoing, dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. I would consider myself to be a people person who overall just loves kids!
