Hi, I'm Emily! I was born in California, and then lived in Spain for 7 years, England for another 7, and now I am here at High Point University. Being an Elementary Education major, I have had multiple opportunities and experiences working with children all ages. I have babysat for many years. I have also had summer opportunities where I was able to work with children with disabilities. As challenging as this experience was, it boosted my confidence and taught me things I never thought I would need to know. This past summer, I worked with a non profit in Colombia, South America. I worked alongside the social worker with children in orphanages. All of these experiences I have had have made me grow and learn when working with children. I adore working with children, and I hope to be given the opportunity to work for yours!
