I have always loved being a babysitter! I started out working at a daycare center, Pyle Child Development Center, where I was a teacher assistant. At the Pyle Center my job included preparing breakfast, lunch, and snacks for my assigned class, properly cleaning toys and play areas, assisting field trips, monitoring recess and participating in arts and crafts and reading with kids. My major at East Carolina University is Social Work and I plan on using my major to pursue a career in a school. I have also been involved in many programs for kids, for example DFRC in which I was assigned a "buddy" who has intellectual disabilities that I spent my free time with and acted as a guide and role model. I have tutored elementary school students and love to help with homework! At my church I spend my time as the assistant teacher for Sunday School. Read more I am a certified ETC (emergency telecommunication) and can handle emergencies well and I have previously been certified in CPR.
