I just graduated from college with a degree in business. Throughout my college career I was very active, starting with forming my own organization, involvement with sororities and fraternities, playing rugby, to doing research and winning those competitions, to even getting my secret clearance to the government with my internship. I'm a team player and we won't lose over here! I am looking for an experience to help families; more importantly inspire their kids. I love being a sitter because I get to be more than just a caregiver—I’m a friend, a mentor, and a support system. It reminds me of my own childhood. My mom was a single parent working multiple jobs, and she had to trust others to care for us. I know how important that role is. Being able to support families and uplift kids is the best part of this job. I am the oldest of 3 girls, I know what it takes to be a leader and why it's important to let kids be kids. I’ve worked with kids of all ages in both paid and volunteer settings. I was a camp counselor for ages 5–16, where I planned fun activities and made sure everyone felt safe and included. I’ve also worked as an after-school coordinator and an orientation leader, helping students academically and socially. On top of that, I volunteered at Cone Health Hospital delivering supplies and supporting new moms and babies. These experiences taught me how to connect with kids, be patient, and create a safe, supportive environment. I’m strong in communication, cleaning, tutoring, and promoting fitness and healthy habits. I work well with both kids and families and always stay calm under pressure. Right now, I’m also working toward my RBT certification to support children with autism. I’m open to additional training and always looking for ways to grow and show up better for the families I work with.
