Hello, my name is Rita. I am 53 years old and live with my husband in Huntersville, North Carolina (Cedarfield). Regarding my educational background, I completed two bachelors degrees, one in tourism and one in art. I am originally from Brazil, I speak (Portuguese- primary, English - secondary, Spanish - 3rd). I am just looking for a flexible way to supplement my income in an area I thoroughly enjoy, childcare! As far as experience, I have raised a daughter who is now attending college for engineering (age 21). Additionally, I currently care for a family who has three boys (one 4 year old, twins who were 7 months when I started caring for them starting August 2016). My assignment prior to that was for 6 months, providing childcare for a family in Cornelius (November 2015 - May 2016). I can also provide them as a reference to contact if needed, Read more they have 2 lovely girls ages 2 & 5 and a wonderful boy age 6. I completed my re-certification of CPR & first aid with the Red Cross on 4-16-16 and went through a comprehensive background check by the state (NC certified) which is valid for three years and needed to assist in daycare facilities. I have full schedule M-F 7:00A-4:00P, but I am happy to work weekends (Friday after 6P to Sunday 6P). I look forward to hearing back from you with any and all opportunities! Rita was such a blessing to our family! She always exceeded expectations. She helped with light housekeeping without being asked and kept the kids on a schedule. Most of all my children fell in love with her. They looked forward everyday to seeing her and would greet her at the door with hugs and kisses galore! She was able to work with my schedule and was always on time. Rita was always cheerful and it was obvious she enjoyed coming to care for the kids. Any family is incredibly lucky to have her!
