Hi guys! I am Sydney, a 22 year old kid lover. I am actually going back to school in the fall to become a school teacher. I am currently working at AT&T as a store manager, but I’m wishing to transition back to doing something with children. I took this job about a year ago, only because the 2 amazing boys that I babysat for grew up, and no longer needed my services :( I babysat them for 3 years. When I first started babysitting them, they were 7 and 11 years old. When we parted ways, they were 10 and 14. My typical duties included, but are not limited to picking them up from school, driving them back home, preparing a snack, helping with homework, then about an hour of playtime before either dropping them off at practice or mom or dad gets home. Occasionally I would watch them overnight, for either a date night or a couples vacation. In instances like these, I would also prepare dinner and put the kids to sleep. I became apart of their family. We still keep in contact till this day. Apart from that family, I also have previously babysat for a beautiful 2 year old girl. I even potty trained her! I also have 2 nieces, ages 4 and 6. So I have plenty experience. Working here at AT&T has truly made me realize that I am not living in my purpose by just selling phones.
