Hello! My name is Charlotte, and I have numerous years of experience working with children as both a nanny and a Pre-K Teacher Assistant. I have a natural ease with children and enjoy supporting their learning and development through play, reading, various activities and outside time. I have had Infant & Child First Aid/CPR trainings and I also completed an Early Childhood Education Certificate course. As a mom myself, I really value the importance of the role of a caring, attentive nanny! I take great satisfaction in feeling as though parents can see their child is safe, happy and engaged in my care. It truly is a joy to watch young minds grow and foster their curiosity of the world.

My 'Prime Objective' as a Caregiver is nurturing a sense of wonder and curiosity in preschoolers -- and imagination plus reality-based competencies in the over-5s. (While keeping them safe and cared for, of course!) And I really prefer to avoid electronic screens for children! That's why I love to read with children. And bring intriguing books from my collection from classic to modern... Plus I'm always up for outdoor fun! And getting down on the floor and building things. Over years, I've put together a big wooden train collection with a SUITCASE full of tracks, specialty pieces like bridges, tunnels, ramps and connectors, with several battery powered remote controllable locomotives. Children 3-9 can literally spend enthralled HOURS assembling their own creative layouts then running trains. (While naturally enhancing their spatial intelligence, collaboration skills and 'stick-to-it-ness'...) Other options: a set of colorful wood blocks; tea sets (covert etiquette lessons and cookie baking!); princess and knight costumes for feeling special and dress-up play; Nerfball shooters (with eye protection!). An old-fashioned portable record player with classic vintage story records. Art supplies, an easel, squirt guns and sprinkler... For several years, I worked as a private-duty CNA and in-home Caregiver for elderly and disabled people. This type of upscale agency work requires immaculate background checks, excellent health, clean drug tests, reliability and being on time, as well as cheerfulness, compassion and competence. Now, I'm semi-retired, active and healthy, and LOVE interacting with children. In high school, I babysat for most of the kids in our neighborhood, was a paid Girl Scout Day Camp Counselor with full charge of eight 9 year old girls, had Red Cross Lifesaver Swimming Certification, and taught horseback riding. Have First Aid and CPR Certificates and recent college Certificate In Child Development. Have experience with autistic and medically fragile children. A recent review, from an ER nurse: "Just wanted to say thank you again for the great care that Sue gave the boys yesterday. She's so patient and amazing and I like the fact that she's mature and is a grandparent herself. She brought her own books and toys and the boys just had a blast with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care, she definitely is an asset..." Allison RN 💚Miss Sue

I have been a nanny for 10+ years. I am 45 years old and have 2 "kids" that are 23 and 25. I worked in corporate environment with major companies such as IBM, GlaxoSmithKline, Sony Ericsson, etc. until layoffs made me reconsider my employment. While I was considering alternatives, I was asked to nanny for a couple that were our neighbors at the time. I did and have been in love with it since. I have kept children from birth to 12 yrs old. I've kept from one child to up to 4 children, including multiples. I have been with current family almost 5 years. I started with 6 week old twins full time and their 2 year old sister part time and during summers. They are now 4 and a half and 7. They will all be in school starting in September and I would like to stay on with them for after school care from 2:30 - 5:15 if possible. I am CPR and first aid certified and have attended many and various childcare/nanny training conferences and classes. This is by far the most fulfilling and emjoyable work I've ever known (other than raising my own children). I consider it an honor to be a part of so many children's lives as well as being an extention of amazing families. I love getting up each morning to see these precious faces greet me with smiles and cheers of "Miss Amy!!" Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss and address any questions.

Hi! I’m Sara — a dental assistant, CPR/First Aid certified caregiver, and future child mental-health counselor. I’ve been caring for children for several years and have experience with all ages — from newborns and infants to busy toddlers, school-aged kids, and teens. I love creating a safe, calm, and fun environment where kids feel supported and parents feel confident. I currently work as a dental assistant, which has strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure. I also maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications, so safety is always my top priority. I’m also in college working toward my Psychology degree with the goal of becoming a licensed mental health counselor for children and adolescents. Supporting kids emotionally and helping them feel understood is something I’m incredibly passionate about. Whether your family needs structured routines, gentle guidance, homework help, bedtime support, or just a dependable sitter who truly cares — I’m here to help! Feel free to reach out with any questions. I’d love to get to know your family! 🌟

Hi, I’m Emilie Pennell! I’m excited to introduce myself and share why I’d be a great choice to help care for your children. Although I don’t drive yet, I have reliable transportation to get to your house but nowhere else for the moment. I believe being punctual and dependable is really important when caring for kids. Working with children is something I love they bring out my best self. I have strong patience, creativity, and energy, and I enjoy finding fun, safe, and age appropriate ways to keep kids engaged. Whether it’s leading them in games, helping with homework, reading stories, or just playing outside, I always try to make their time enjoyable and comforting. Kids tend to warm up to me quickly. I work to build trust and make them feel safe and understood. Listening, being kind, and showing respect are core to how I behave with children I believe these things help foster a happy, secure environment. I’m flexible with scheduling and open to different ages. I care deeply about being responsible, reliable, and communicative with parents keeping you informed about what your kids are up to, any concerns, and making sure you can count on me. Thank you for considering me. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your children and to being someone you can rely on.
