I've always been the type of cousin the older cousins left their kids with! lol Childcare is something that sort of came naturally to me since my younger sister was born and it kickstarted my love for it. I've worked around Louisiana, Texas, and now North Carolina with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. That includes autism on the lower functioning side. Last year I completed a 16 week early childhood development course and plan on starting my bachelors for early childhood development and education. All online and my schedule is completely flexible, so availability due to school will never be an issue :)
